Fowler Park is a huge multi-purpose park located in Forsyth County in the northern Atlanta suburbs. (Don’t confuse with the similarly named Fowler Field, which is a small park in Douglas County west of Atlanta.)

The park includes soccer fields, along with tennis, basketball, skating, playgrounds, trails, pavilions, concessions and restroom facilities. Fields 5 and 10 are artificial turf, other fields are natural grass.

Directions from Metro North Park

Driving time is approximately 40 minutes.

  1. Turn left onto Paper Mill Road, go 0.2 miles to Johnson Ferry Road.
  2. Turn right onto Johnson Ferry Road, go 1.6 miles to Abernathy Road.
  3. Turn left onto Abernathy Road, go just under 2 miles to the GA-400 interchange.
  4. Turn left to take GA-400 North (US-19).
  5. Stay on GA-400 North until exit #13:  Peachtree Pky / GA-141.
  6. Turn left onto Peachtree Parkway and go 0.2 miles to the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and Atlanta Highway (GA-9).
  7. Turn left onto GA-9/N and go 2.6 miles.
  8. Turn left at a traffic light onto Carolene Way. This is the entrance to Fowler Park.
  9. Follow the entrance road for a half mile. Soccer parking is on the right just before the small stadium, with more parking on the right as you top the hill after passing the fields. Check the field layout (top of page) to see which parking lot is closest to your game field.

Directions from United Quest Park

Driving time is approximately 50 minutes.

  • You can go east through Roswell to GA 400 North (start with step #1 below), or you can take the interstates. If you use the interstates, take I-75 South to exit #259, then take I-285 East to exit #27, then take GA 400 North and jump to step #7.
  • If you live in Cherokee, you can take GA-20 and come in from the north side (see next section).
  1. Turn left onto Hawkins Store Road and go to Canton Road.
  2. Turn left (north) onto Canton Road and go 0.7 miles to Shallowford Road.
  3. Turn right onto Shallowford and go 3.8 miles to Sandy Plains Road.
  4. Turn left at a major intersection onto Sandy Plains and go 3.1 miles until it ends at Highway 92, also called Woodstock Road.
  5. Turn right onto Highway 92 (Woodstock Road). You’ll stay on this road for about 7 miles until you reach GA-400 (also called US-19). During this stretch, the road name changes to Crossville Road and Holcomb Bridge Road.
  6. Turn left to take GA-400 North.
  7. Stay on GA-400 North until exit #13:  Peachtree Pky / GA-141.
  8. Turn left onto Peachtree Parkway and go 0.2 miles to the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and Atlanta Highway (GA-9).
  9. Turn left onto GA-9/N and go 2.6 miles.
  10. Turn left at a traffic light onto Carolene Way. This is the entrance to Fowler Park.
  11. Follow the entrance road for a half mile. Soccer parking is on the right just before the small stadium, with more parking on the right as you top the hill after passing the fields. Check the field layout (top of page) to see which parking lot is closest to your game field.

Alternate directions to Fowler Park coming from west Cobb / Cherokee

  1. Take I-575 North through Cherokee County to exit #19A: GA-20 East (Cumming).
  2. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Main Street, also called GA-20 East.
  3. Stay on GA-20 East for 14.3 miles.
  4. Turn right at a traffic light onto Post Road (GA 371) and go 4.1 miles. You’ll enter horse country during this stretch.
  5. Turn left at a traffic light onto Majors Road and go 1.4 miles. You’ll pass the Polo Club entrance on the left during this stretch.
  6. Turn right at a traffic light onto Castleberry Road and go 0.8 miles to the intersection of Atlanta Highway. There’s a traffic light at this intersection.
  7. Go straight at the light to enter Fowler Park.

Directions from Fowler Park to the Polo Club fields

  1. Go straight at the traffic light at the Fowler Park exit. This will put you on Castleberry Road.
  2. Go 0.8 miles on Castleberry to the intersection with Majors Road. There’s a traffic light at this intersection .
  3. Turn left onto Majors Road and go 1.2 miles.
  4. The Polo Club fields are on the right.
