Fees for the 2023-2024 Junior Academy Girls program stay the same as they have been since the 2018-2019 soccer year: $1175 if paid in full in June. Link: NASA Tophat 2023-2024 Academy fees
Payment installments are also offered as a four month, seven month or ten month plan. Further details on payment plans are available within the NTH registration system.
- The fees cover player registration and coaching fees for both fall & spring seasons, capital improvement fee, plus our August Academy Team Camp.
- Uniforms and tournament entry fees are not included.
- Regular game days are included in your NASA Tophat fees; tournaments are extra.
When / how to pay:
NASA Tophat registrar Stevi Nuss will contact each family in late May / early June with information to start the registration process. This process includes submitting the initial fee and/or setting up a payment schedule.
You’ll submit the initial payment through the NASA Tophat on-line registration system (check, Master Card or VISA). When subsequent payments are due, the registration system will send e-mail reminders in advance. If you wish to pay in cash, contact the NASA Tophat League Registrar.
Note: If you already paid registration fees for the fall recreational season, those fees will be transferred toward your Junior Academy fees.
Spring season only (Junior Academy):
If a player joins the Junior Academy over the winter break, fees for the spring season are roughly half the full-year total:
- New players joining in January: $639.50 (can be paid in three installments)
- New players joining in February: $505.63 (can be paid in two installments)
Uniforms:
May 2023: We finished the second year of a 2-year, four season uniform cycle. Families of both new and returning players will need to order new uniforms. A complete uniform package (home and away game day uniforms, practice jerseys and warm-ups) runs in the $450-$550 range. Link: uniform package
Tournaments:
Regular Academy game days are already covered by your NASA Tophat fees. Tournaments are extra. Our Junior Academy Girls typically only play one local tournament at the end of the spring season. Tournament entry fees usually range from $60-$100 per player per tournament.
Other fees:
Academy groups will collect the following miscellaneous fees on an as-needed basis:
- Occasional indoor arena rental: Roughly $5 per player per event. We occasionally rent indoor space when fields are closed due to poor weather conditions.
- Overhead for Academy communication channels (web site domain and hosting fees): Roughly $5-$10 per player per year.
- Admin costs: Roughly $5 per player per year to cover expenses for player passes (ID cards), our records binder, and copying costs (or online check-in fees) for tournament forms.
- Goalkeeper gloves: $1-$2 per player for communal keeper gloves.
