Lost and Found

Facts:  Kids lose things. And coaches find things. If kids’ items are labeled, coaches can usually reunite found items with their owners. This makes kids and parents happy, and eliminates needless angst. Here’s how you can help.

  • Uniform shirts:  These have player numbers, which help us match them to a player. Other items may be generic, with no easy way for us to know who’s the owner.
  • Clothing (especially practice vests, warm-up jackets and pants):  Label clothing by using a Sharpie or laundry marker to note your daughter’s initials and uniform number on internal tags / labels. You may also choose to get warm-ups embroidered. Laundering will cause the ID info to fade over time, so we recommend refreshing the ID before each season.
  • Backpacks:  Customize backpacks with a luggage tag, colored wrist strap, ribbon, small stuffed animal, etc. Link:  backpack tips
  • Soccer balls:  Customize soccer balls with initials and a uniform number. Wear and tear will cause the ID info to fade over time, so we recommend refreshing the ID before each season.
  • Water bottles:  Customize water bottles with initials and a uniform number.
