This is a large multi-purpose park west of Atlanta, closer to the Alabama border than to metro Atlanta.
Driving directions from NTH parks:
Driving time is approximately 75 minutes from Metro North Park (start with step 2 below), and 85 minutes from the United Quest Park clubhouse. Directions come from a combination of sources and have not yet been verified by our maps crew.
- Take I-75 South to exit #259 for I-285 West (Birmingham/Montgomery). The I-285 exit has 3 lanes; get in the center or left lane to head west.
- Take I-285 West/South for 10 miles (13 miles if coming from Riverside Drive) until exit #10B: I-20 West.
- Take I-20 West for 26 miles (you’ll pass Six Flags early in this stretch) until exit #24: GA-61 / GA-101 / Industrial Boulevard / Carrollton / Villa Rica.
- Turn left onto GA-61 South and continue 11.6 miles. GA-61 South merges with GA-166 West late in this stretch.
- When you reach the intersection of GA-166 and the Carrollton Bypass, turn right onto Northside Drive
- Take the first left onto Fire Station Road.
- Take an immediate right turn onto Estes Drive, which takes you past the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and into East Carroll Park.
