This is a great question. Players, parents and coaches are eager to return to the fields for practice and play! But we don’t yet have information about a “return to play” date.
NTH has an executive director and a board of directors who make the club’s big decisions. We trust they’ll make a well-reasoned decision. What follows is an explanation of how major NTH news notices have worked in the past.
- An NTH director(s) sends an e-mail to the entire club. The recipients include the parents of thousands of current players, plus coaches and referees.
- We (Junior Academy Girls) follow-up with a group e-mail to our 25 Junior Academy Girls families to let them know how the club-wide news affects our small group. (Some e-mail providers block our group messages as potential spam: more details here.)
- We also follow-up by adding a post to the top of our web site’s News section.
- We also follow-up by posting a summary of the news on our Twitter account.
We expect this same process to be used once there is any NTH news on the COVID-19 front.
