We honor one of the all-time soccer greats, Johan Cruyff, who died March 24, 2016 after fighting lung cancer.
Cruyff had a hugely successful playing career with Ajax in the Netherlands, and with Barcelona in Spain. But he may have had even more influence as a coach. He’s credited with being the architect who transformed Barcelona from a good team into a dominant team.
