2018 Halloween Soccer Shocker recap

By | October 27, 2018

Halloween-Soccer-Shocker-2018Halloween-Soccer-Shocker-2018We thank all the girls for their creativity and enthusiasm with this year’s Halloween Soccer Shocker!

Super-heroes, ghouls, a herd of giraffes, a shark, an astronaut, a cow, and everything in between — we saw it and were entertained (or scared) by it!

We also thank our volunteer crew for their time and effort decorating the scene, organizing food and drinks, and doing an amazingly quick clean-up afterward. The party crew may have been dressed as themselves, but they were Soccer Shocker super-heros!

Halloween-Soccer-Shocker-2018Halloween-Soccer-Shocker-2018The U9 and older groups brought their “A” game, with each age group having a different coordinated dance routine for their time on stage during the costume parade. They made the Junior Academy Girls look like rookies! (Wait, the Junior Academy Girls are rookies!)

Special thanks to our MC, Tony the Tiger (a.k.a. coach Trey). He kept things buzzing with tunes and fun games. To borrow a phrase, his performance was GRRREAT!

No practice on Halloween

Speaking of Halloween, we have canceled our Wednesday, October 31st practice so the girls have plenty of time for trick-or-treat. Anyone who misses our Wednesday practice is welcome (but not required) to attend our Thursday practice at Metro North Park (TOPS field, 4:45 – 6:00 PM).
