NTH has recommended that we cancel Monday’s practice due to extreme heat, with “feels like” temperatures of over 100 degrees. Temperatures and conditions for the rest of the week are forecast to be several degrees cooler. (“Less hot” seems more descriptive.) So we’re hoping today is a one-off cancellation. Anyone who wants a make-up session is welcome (but not required) to attend a practice at the other park as a make-up.

We’ve been spending the majority of our practice time on ball control and dribbling. Today we’re going to introduce the girls to ball striking, aka kicking the ball. There’s a video series we made during our COVID break that we ask the girls (and parents) to watch. It consists of 6 short videos, each about a minute long.
