We took advantage of a slice of nice weather to have informal 2017 New Year’s Eve eve scrimmages.
We played a series of 4v4 games, and then finished with a 7v7 game. The girls brought a ton of enthusiasm, desire and determination! And lots of girls showed off some new footwork — maybe treats from Santa found their way from the girls’ Christmas stockings into their soccer socks?
If weather is favorable, we hope to schedule another informal scrimmage during the King Holiday weekend (Jan. 13-15). If so, we’ll e-mail everyone a few days ahead of time, and also post a notice on our web site and Twitter account.
