Weather update (posted Thursday @ 5:30 PM): The weather forecast has led us to switch our Happier New Year scrimmages from Friday, January 1 to Saturday, January 2. We’ll go from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at Metro North Park on the small turf field.
We’re planning a Happier New Year scrimmage on Friday, January 1, 2026 (see weather update above). This is an informal, come if you can event, open to all of our current Junior Academy Girls players from Metro North and Quest Parks. If your daughter is scheduled to sing the National Anthem at the Peach Bowl game, don’t change your plans!
We’re leaning toward an early afternoon time slot, but we have been asked to also consider morning so we don’t conflict with the Peach Bowl. We created a brief Survey Monkey survey to collect player availability info: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MDHYGJ8. We’ll collect survey results and post more details on this page by 9:00 PM Tuesday.
