Lots of recent rain resulted in closed grass fields at Quest Park. The late afternoon weather is playable, so we’ll move our practice to the puddle jumper court., same 5:30-6:45 time slot as usual, with an optional earlier bird start at 5:00. We’ll skip goalkeeper training. (We prefer soft grass for goalie training over hard asphalt (which is the surface under the puddle jumper’s fake grass.
Footwear:
Turf shoes work best, but many kids are fine with cleats. (Cleats don’t grip the surface as well as turfs.) We recommend bringing a pair of sneakers in case your daughter’s soccer shoes aren’t getting the job done.
