We thank all the girls who braved the cold weather for our 2019 King Holiday scrimmages. The combination of a sunny sky and sunnier player dispositions made for a great time!

And an extra thank you to the parents for making sure the girls dressed properly for the cold! Playing in cold weather isn’t our first choice, but it’s still fun when you have the right gear.
Best oddball moment: During one scrimmage, a team named itself “beret de bleu” (blue hats) with some help from French-speaking Evie. When chanted by the whole team, it sounded like “parade of blood”. Maybe you had to be there! Fortunately, the only red we saw was rosy cheeks.
