We start with a “dress rehearsal” game day on Saturday, August 14, 2021. We’re off the next two weekends as older kids’ tournaments take over the NTH parks. We’re also off Labor Day weekend.
We’ll start regular game days on Saturday, September 11th (the first Saturday after Labor Day). We continue with weekly games (minus an October 2-3 weekend bye) until we wrap up our fall season the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Game day rosters:
- Every available girl will play each game day. We play multiple games each game day, with each girl usually playing one game. Link: game day procedures and guidelines
- We post game day rosters each Monday night before the upcoming weekend games. You can click the link in the schedule’s Date column to see that date’s rosters and schedules. Link: sample game day rosters and schedule page
- We’ll combine girls from both Metro North Park and United Quest Park on game days.
- Coaches will handle roster assignments. We may not be able to honor individual roster / game time requests. Link: schedule requests
Bad weather procedures:
- Rain itself isn’t a problem, but waterlogged fields, lightning or unsafe driving conditions could affect our schedule. For info about how we deal with bad weather, please check our weather link.
Schedule conflicts:
- Please let us know as early as possible about any game day schedule conflicts, including conflicts with travel related to local school systems’ fall breaks. (E-mail to Ward is the preferred method.) We can work around most conflicts as long as we know about them by the weekend ahead of the game day.
Game formats:
- Our main format will be 5v5 (4 field players, 1 goalkeeper), but we also have some 7v7 games. We’ll play with goalkeepers in 5v5 and 7v7 games. The offside rule will apply in 7v7 games.
DH players:
- We may have some game days when we’ll need some players to play twice, or what we call “DH” (double-header) duty. Link: double-header play
Limited Sunday play:
- Most of our game days are scheduled on Saturdays, but we may have an occasional Sunday late morning or afternoon game day.
- If rainouts become an issue, we may schedule Sunday make-up games.
Tournaments:
- We won’t play a pre-season tournament.
- We will play an in-house tournament (our Fall Finale) on Saturday, November 20th (the Saturday before Thanksgiving).
